It was snowing again.
Konatsu let out an annoyed huff as he walked, pulling his coat closer around his torso. He didn't dislike snow, but it was the last thing he wanted right now. Though he didn't mind the demands an infiltration mission placed on him, this one was getting exhausting. Posing as a tutor was one thing. Putting up with his employer's spoiled children while pretending to be a relatively unskilled man desperate for a job was another thing entirely. If he had to deal with one more ink pot being thrown at his head he was going to snap. The fat, wet flakes drifting down from the sky and slowly conspiring to make him uncomfortably damp weren't helping.
His gait isn't as purposeful or lively as usual as he climbs the stairs to he and Hyuuga's shared rental home. Unlike the day before, he only half-heartly shakes the snow off of his boots, rather than stomping it away, before pushing open the front door and stepping inside.
"Major, I'm back."
